Being a former high level athlete, Dr. Allen takes a unique approach to chiropractic and the art of the adjustment. His gentle approach and specificity have afforded him great results when treating his patients. His approach is simple, chiropractic works, and when you practice with intention and treat each individual as a unique case that deserves unique attention, the results will speak for themselves. Dr. Brendan Allen is a Connecticut native originally hailing from Windsor, CT.
He attended Windsor High School where he played basketball for all four years eventually graduating in the top 10% of his class. Upon graduation he decided to attend the University of Connecticut where he majored in Biological Sciences while simultaneously being a member of their Division 1 basketball program. Dr. Allen transitioned into Life University’s Chiropractic program immediately upon his graduation from the University of Connecticut. He would attend Life University from the spring of 2016 with his official graduation occurring in March of 2020, completing 8 years of higher education without interruption.
His first foray in practice would occur in Tennessee and shortly after his initial practice began, he would receive that opportunity to work in China with the Chinese Olympic Team as a team physician. This opportunity would be cut short due to the pandemic, and consequently he would find his way back Connecticut. Dr. Allen has two siblings, one of whom has her Doctorate in clinical psychology and the other who is a division one volleyball player. He enjoys spending time with his family and when he isn’t in practice he still plays basketball. He is a big fan of CrossFit and an avid reader as well. A fun fact about Dr. Allen; one of his life goals is to become a polyglot, which means an individual who can speak at minimum 4 languages!
As a new member to the West Hartford Chiropractic Team, Dr. Allen is excited to help his community and looks forward to providing the people of the greater Hartford area quality chiropractic care.
