Dr. Anderson Hart, DC, ATC, CSCS

Dr. Hart originally hails from the small town of Dorset, VT. He has been fascinated by the study of human physiology and performance from an early age. He attended the University of Vermont where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training and had the opportunity to work with athletes at both the secondary school and NCAA Division I level.

Shortly after graduating, Dr. Hart received credentialing as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Athletic Trainer. Before matriculating into Palmer College of Chiropractic he spent time working at a local fitness center in downtown Burlington, VT as a strength coach and group fitness instructor. While attending Chiropractic school Dr. Hart worked as the athletic trainer for the Palmer Ladies' Rugby Team and graduated as Valedictorian of his class.

As a clinician, Dr. Hart is focused on restoring and maintaining the structural integrity of the spine and how this influences our ability to adapt to the intrinsic and extrinsic stresses of our environment. He has particular interest in the integration of the structural and respiratory functions of the diaphragm and its role in maintaining the internal spinal stabilization system, providing a stable platform from which to generate optimal motor patterns affording the greatest level of overall performance with the lowest risk of injury.

Dr. Hart has always had a passion for athletics and a strong competitive spirit. He feels most at home in the thick of the bright lights and the roaring crowd. Outside of Chiropractic, he enjoys most athletic endeavors from intense strength training to a relaxing round of golf. Outside of sports his greatest therapy takes place in the kitchen with his fiancé, Leah, and their kitten, Ramsay, where they work feverishly to create the most delicious, thoughtfully-crafted foods from scratch because there are few things in life more important than a proper home-cooked meal with family.
